In memory of

A beautiful sunny day
Took my husband away.
After 46 years of joys and tears
In front of God he will appear.
He was a man of heart,
had fear to leave me apart.
I love him all
with all his faults.
His love is sealed
in my heart voult.
Hi heavenly beatitude
wll be my earthly fortitude.
Thank you Lord
For sharing him with me.
I know now he is with Thee.

Good Lesson

Everything I need to know I learned from Noah's Ark:
One:- Don't miss the boat.
Two:- Remember that we are all in the same boat
Three:- Plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the ark.
Four:- Stay fit. Someone may ask you to do something in your senior years.
Five:- Don't listen to critics. Get on with the job that needs done.
Six:- Build your future on high ground.
Seven:- Always travel in pair for safety's sake.
Eight:- Speed isn't always an advantage. The snail and the cheetah were on board.
Nine:- When you are stressed, float a while.
Ten.- The Ark was built by amateurs. The Titanic by professionals.
Eleven:- Ignore the storm, when you are with God there is always a rainbow waiting.
GOD BLESS US ALL.

Persecution and symbolism

Symbolism developed during persecutions. Persecuted Christians used the fish to recognise each other. To avoid declaring themselves they drew a curved line resembling half fish on the ground. The next comer who completed the fish was recognized as a Christian and accepted as such.

Symbolism

LIBERTY
The statue stands more that 300 feet tall and is recognized around the world as the quintessential symbol of freedom and American values. The statue of Liberty has welcomed thousands of immigrants and visitors to America since her dedication on Oct. 28, 1886.

Officially entitled "Liberty Enlightening the World," she was a gift from the people of France to the United States for the centennial celebration of the American Independence.
Today, Lady Liberty continues to watch over New York City from her very own island in New York harbor, lightning the way for a world in search of freedom.

FACTS ABOUT LADY LIBERTY:
The 25 windows of her crown represent the earth's 25 "natural minerals."

The seven spikes on her crown stand for the seven seas and the seven continents.

The chain under her feet represent Liberty crusching the chains of Slavery.

She has an alternate entrance located on the sole of her right foot
Her sandal is 25' long, that's a woman's size 879.
There are 354 steps, or 22 stories to reach the crown.

Symbolism has always been a wonderful way to express and connect. It is a shame that symbolism is put aside and forgotten first by educators, second by society and third by the families that make the society. Just like the death of a person, symbolism survived one generation and then vanished living big empty spaces that cannot be explained.

Elmore County

Elmore County

Elmore County was created by the Alabama legislature in 1866 from parts of Autauga, Coosa, Montgomeryeast and Tallapoosa Counties. Driving around the area a view of beautiful plantation homes ca still be seen, the most famous is Ellerslie which was the first permanent home in the area built in 1818.

EQUALITY

Equality of mankind.
In my opinion the only equality is the moral evolution of man. Sure we are all equal as far as our animal instinct goes. But physically we are not. Few are born with three kidneys (my mother is one). We differ in skin colors, we differ in our believes. Each one of us is created equal for our moral evolution, we can chose to be good or bad. We can choose the honorable way of life or the criminal life. I believe that is the only equality we have. We can honor God and enrich our spirit or we ca chose to live our lives by our animal instincts. We are all created equal to chose our moral life. Other mammals do not have that equality given to men. Other mammals are bound by the laws of instinct, reproduction and survival. Animals kill only to eat and survive, men kill for control and pleasure. Men can only evolve through his spirit because he will always be bound by the laws of the earth. Our spirituality is our morality and our freedom.
