one eye

I have one eye left and the other is half blind. I can still see to motivate and help myself and I am proud the Lord gifted me with two eyes.
I am 68 now and have seen beautiful things as well as ugly things. My mind has erased the ugliness and I can still see all the beauty I encountered in my life.
I can still see life at it's best. The sun shine, the smiles of the moon, the stars, the colored flowers, the rainbows.
I can still see all the things that give me joy and life.
I keep my memories fresh and happy. I find myself smiling happy remembering past events and people.
I am proud to have built a castle of good happy memories for they are my strength and my joy of life today.
